    Intercultural awareness is a skill that is becoming high in demand in society - from workplaces to classrooms to social interactions. When engaging in diverse networks, it's important to understand the many components involved in day-to-day interactions and how, sometimes, communication contexts, cultural identities, and other factors, impact our ability to participate in conversations without bias, judgement, and defensiveness.

    This specialized training offers students, faculty, and staff, the opportunity to explore what it means to be interculturally competent through informed discussion, self-reflection, and collaborative learning.
